Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Apalachicola, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Franklin County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing: Franklin County Emergency Operations Center The proposed project is located in Franklin County, Florida and consists of constructing a new Emergency Operations Center along with asphalt paving, sidewalks, underground utilities, stormwater facilities and other appurtenances. Completion date for this project will be 365 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $500.00 per day. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Franklin County. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
