Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Powderhorn, Colorado. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
This Request for Documented Quotations (DQ) is issued by the State of Colorado, acting by and through the Department of Natural Resources ("Department" or "DNR"), Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ("DRMS" or the "Division"). Work will involve safeguarding hazardous mine features with designed closure methods. 11 shafts will be safeguarded. Closure methods include steel grates, polyurethane foam plugs and steel grates with bat access. The Nine Mile Project is located between route 149, Blue Mesa Reservoir and Sapinero Mesa in Gunnison County. Please see the attached maps. Prospective Offerors may make written inquiries concerning the DQ to obtain clarification of requirements.
