Site work for a road / highway in Bryan, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

It is the intent of these specifications and drawings to provide the Contractor with the scope and general requirements for the construction of the SHADYEAST STATE HIGHWAY 6 TxDOT CROSSING 69kV PROJECT. The existing 69kV Shady Lane to East Substation crosses State Highway 6 just north of University Drive. The existing line consists of one 69kV transmission circuit with ADSS fiber lashed to the static wire, one 12.47kV distribution circuit, and two communication zone communication cable on messenger. The work to be completed under these specifications and drawings includes, but is not limited to the following: The removal of approximately 2000 feet of existing transmission circuit and 2000 feet of existing distribution circuit and rebuilt on new structures. Various OPGW and communication circuits will be partially or completely removed and transferred or rebuilt to new structures. The new transmission line will be a bundled conductor configuration in anticipation of a future line upgrade project connecting to existing single conductor configuration. Contractor shall be responsible for requesting and coordinating all DigTESS activities associated with this project 69kV electrical transmission line crossing project involving utility work and site improvements related to SH6 TxDOT infrastructure.
