Site work and renovation of a library in Park Ridge, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.
The City of Park Ridge is accepting bids from qualified contractors to provide exterior concrete and masonry repairs at the Park Ridge Public Library, located at 20 S. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge, Illinois. The work generally includes, but is not limited to: Demolition and replacement of deteriorated concrete sidewalk sections. o Demolition and reconstruction of portions of the existing concrete retaining wall . Masonry tuckpointing of deteriorated mortar joints. o Removal and replacement of damaged or cracked brick masonry units. Concrete stair repairs including removal of deteriorated concrete, installation of reinforcing dowels/pins, and placement of new concrete repair material. Repair, removal, resetting, and replacement of limestone capstones at the terrace and front entry walls. Removal, repair, repainting, and reinstallation of existing handrail posts, including installation of new grout beds and sealant as required. Repair of wall caps, masonry joints, sealants, and other miscellaneous concrete and masonry deficiencies identified in the contract drawings. Protection of adjacent improvements, restoration of disturbed areas, and final cleanup. The Contractor must complete the project by November 23, 2026.
