Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Reidsville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Repair damages from Hurricane Helene on Seven Storage Sheds. Work will take place at Georgia State Prison, 300 1st Avenue South, Reidsville, Georgia 30453. The base Bid will include all work listed in the scope. There will be no alternates for this project. SCOPE OF WORK The intent of this project is to furnish and install all materials and services necessary to make repairs to seven storage sheds caused by Hurricane Helene at Georgia State Prison . All associated work, including but not limited to demolition and renovation of existing construction, includes structural, security/low voltage, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc. is included in this scope of work. PROJECT SUMMARY The scope of work is as follows: 1. Storage Shed one (1) located behind House 132 roofing repair. a. Remove and dispose of existing damaged roofing, decking and felt underlayment. b. Furnish and install new decking, felt underlayment and shingles. c. All demolished and scrap materials in their entirety must be removed off GDC Property in accordance with all applicable GA state regulations. d. Final clean. 2. Storage Shed two (2) located behind House 134 roofing repair. a. Remove and dispose of existing damaged roofing, decking and felt underlayment. b. Furnish and install new decking, felt underlayment and shingles. c. All demolished and scrap materials in their entirety must be removed off GDC Property in accordance with all applicable GA state regulations. d. Final clean. 3. Storage Shed three (3) located behind House 144 roofing repair. a. Remove and dispose of existing damaged roofing, decking and felt underlayment. b. Furnish and install new decking, felt underlayment and shingles. c. All demolished and scrap materials in their entirety must be removed off GDC Property in accordance with all applicable GA state regulations. d. Final clean. 4. Storage Shed four (4) located behind House 145 roofing repair. a. Remove and dispose of existing damaged roofing, decking and felt underlayment. b. Furnish and install new decking, felt underlayment and shingles. c. All demolished and scrap materials in their entirety must be removed off GDC Property in accordance with all applicable GA state regulations. d. Final clean. 5. Storage Shed five (5) located behind House 147 roofing repair. a. Remove and dispose of existing damaged roofing, decking and felt underlayment. b. Furnish and install new decking, felt underlayment and shingles. c. All demolished and scrap materials in their entirety must be removed off GDC Property in accordance with all applicable GA state regulations. d. Final clean. 6. Storage Shed six (6) located behind House 158 roofing repair. a. Remove and dispose of existing damaged roofing, decking and felt underlayment. b. Furnish and install new decking, felt underlayment and shingles. c. All demolished and scrap materials in their entirety must be removed off GDC Property in accordance with all applicable GA state regulations. d. Final clean. 7. Storage Shed seven (7) located behind House 162 roofing repair. a. Remove and dispose of existing damaged roofing, decking and felt underlayment. b. Furnish and install new decking, felt underlayment and shingles. c. All demolished and scrap materials in their entirety must be removed off GDC Property in accordance with all applicable GA state regulations. d. Final clean. 8. Contractor to test and verify (by a certified Laboratory) existing buildings for Hazardous Materials before repairs start. Provide a written report on the testing. (Lead Base Paint, Asbestos Containing Material, Mold) Should Hazardous Material be found the General Contractor will submit an Abatement Proposal. 9. Contractor shall verify all new and existing conditions and dimensions at job site. 10. Contractor shall coordinate inspections as required. 11. Contractor is responsible for protection of all surfaces including those not in the scope of work from construction dust, debris or damage during construction up until final acceptance. The methods of protection include wood, plastic, paper or other means for sealing/protecting furniture, sidewalks, doors or windows, etc. 12. Contractor shall be responsible for daily job site clean-up and will make provisions for disposing of all his trade's debris. There shall not at any time be any material or debris left on site that could endanger the public . 13. Contractor shall be responsible for 48 hours advanced notice to coordinate Utility Interruptions. 14. Match all materials closest to existing materials. Only the Project Manager can pick colors if contractor cannot match to existing materials.
