Redevelopment of a potable water supply well including initial pump test, removal and disposal of existing equipment, CCTV inspection, mechanical cleaning, chemical treatment, and installation of a new vertical turbine pump, column pipe, motor, and associated appurtenances. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond, Certified Check required. In general, the work will include furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the Potable Water Supply Well #1 Redevelopment. The redevelopment work for the aforementioned well will include but not be limited to, initial pump test, removal and disposal of existing submersible pump, column piping and appurtenances, pre-redevelopment CCTV and inspection, vertical alignment and plumbness test, mechanical cleaning, chemical treatment, post-redevelopment CCTV, post- redevelopment pump test, and furnish & installation of new epoxy coated 6" Sch 40 steel, threaded column pipe, pump, motor, shafts, discharge head, and all associated appurtenances. The new vertical turbine pump shall be water lubricated and be rated for 400 GPM at 523' TDH and installed 400 feet deep . The motor shall be rated for 75 horsepower. Well to be performance tested, chlorinated and bacteria tested prior to returning to service and the contractor shall be required to complete all other associated work to complete the intent of this project as specified herein All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) calendar days before the established date for Bid opening.
