Site visit will be held at JD Kline Water Supply Plant, 1749 Pockwock Road, Upper Hammonds Plains, NS, B4B 1P2 at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Atlantic time on August 4, 2026. If interested in participating in this site visit, Proponents are requested to confirm attendance by messaging to the Procurement Officer via Bids & Tenders portal before July 31, 2026, 2:00 PM, Atlantic time. If there are no Proponents registered, the site visit will be cancelled. Each Proponent acknowledges that because the site, which is not accessible by the general public, or portions thereof, may be in use, unforeseen circumstances can arise and Halifax Water may, in its discretion, cancel or reschedule any site visit, or otherwise change any site visit on short notice or no notice to the Proponent and Proponent team member or their representatives. Separate individual tours will not be granted. There are to be NO photos taken while onsite for the site visit. Questions may be asked; however, no minutes of the meeting will be distributed. Any answers provided during the meeting in response to Proponent inquiries will not be legally binding and do not form part of the RFP document. Proponent questions must be formally submitted in writing through the bidding system in accordance with the RFP rules as set out in this RFP. All Proponents interested in participating in site visits will be required to abide by Halifax Water Protocols including all Provincial and Federal guidelines, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Safe Work Procedures. Hard hats, CSA footwear, safety glasses, and hearing protection are mandatory for the site visit. The cost of visiting the Site and all expenses incurred shall be at the Proponent's own expense.
