Site work for a water / sewer project in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a levee.
Design services for the implementation of the Urbandale Downtown Detention Plan, including the preparation of plans for storm water detention at two locations. The City of Urbandale has an existing Urbandale Downtown Master Plan for the Douglas Avenue corridor available on its website. Douglas Avenue is proposed to be widened and reconstructed as a three-lane road with on-street parking on both sides in the future. The Master Plan also focuses on redevelopment of strategic locations in the downtown area. The Master Plan area will require storm water detention and the City of Urbandale is planning to provide storm water detention at two initial locations. The City anticipates applying for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from Polk County to aid in funding the construction portion of this project.
