Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Lake Cowichan, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

River Road: New, larger-diameter water main approximately 950 m. The main will run from the Town water reservoir on Indian Road into the Town and connect to the existing water main infrastructure. This design will include crossing the Cowichan River and connecting to South Shore Road water main. TIMELINE: Request for Quote is underway from qualified engineering firms to provide a detailed design for the project. The selected consultant is tasked with creating the design and a Class D cost estimate for the future construction project. Further update in late fall 2026, pending selection of a preferred proponent.
