Eastern Avenue Bridge Project involvLine and Gradees construction of a long-planned bridge and connector roadway linking Eastern Avenue in Westhall to Route 250 in Crozet, including a creek crossing, bicycle lanes, sidewalks, roadway improvements, right-of-way acquisition, and associated site work. The project is being procured through a bundled design-build contract with the Boulders Road Bridge Project and carries an estimated project value of approximately $29 million. Design public hearings are underway, with procurement extending into early 2027 and anticipated completion in 2030. Blake Abplanalp indicated that Kimley-Horn and Line and Grade are supporting engineering efforts.
