Removal and remediation of friable and non-friable asbestos-containing materials. Questions can be directed to Derek Smith at email: publicworks@burksfalls.ca until noon on August 30, 2026.705-382-3138 ext 229 Documents are available at https://www.burksfalls.net/townhall/tenders The successful contractor will be responsible for the following: o o Removal and disposal of Friable or non -Friable asbestos-containing materials in accordance with O. Reg. 278/05. Supply and Installation of new product to replace the removed Friable or non-friable asbestos-containing materials. Completion of minor/major construction modifications or adjustments required to ensure proper fit and operation of new installations. Provision of all necessary labour, tools, fittings, and incidental materials required to complete the work, unless otherwise specified Maintaining a clean and safe work area and performing clean-up after each installation Coordinating directly with Village of Burk's Falls Public Works to arrange access and installation scheduling. Contractors submitting quotations shall demonstrate: Experience performing hazardous materials abatement industry. Provide site specific abatement plan for the removal , handling, storage and disposal of identified ACM's to ensure worker exposure level is not exceeded as per O. Reg. 490/09 . Ability to complete the work within the specified project timeline.
