The Project is located in the unincorporated area of Santa Cruz County on Soquel Drive between State Park Drive and Freedom Boulevard. The Project includes improvements to implement active transportation improvements and enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety, accessibility, and connectivity while improving corridor operations. The scope of work generally includes the following project components: 1. Preliminary Engineering 2. Data Collection 3. Right Of Way Services 4. Resource Agency Permits 5. Final Design Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) Most of the Project construction phase is funded by the Solutions for Congested Corridors Program grant. Consultant shall ensure that all work under this procurement is completed by no later than the end of 2027 to allow for the Project to meet the construction authorization timeline.
