Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Bothell, Washington. Working plans call for the construction of a 70,000-square-foot, four-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
For the purpose of selecting a Design-Builder to pro-vide for the design and construc-tion of the Husky Hall Building. The UW will engage in a two-part Progressive Design-Build (PDB) selection process: the General Contractor selection followed by the Design Architect selection. Desired qualifications of the design-builder include progres sive design-build project delivery experience; demonstrated success in permitting, design excellence. innovative construction practices, and higher education multidisci-plinary buildings. The project will include con struction of a new Husky Hall Building to reinforce University of Washington Bothell's cross-disciplinary teaching and schol arship in professional programs. The new multidisciplinary Husky Hall will be intentionally designed to welcome and support all mem-bers of the campus community. The proposed project replaces the aging Husky Hall with a mod ern. four-story academic build-ing designed to meet current and future instructional needs. The new facility will provide approx-imately 70,000 gross square foot of flexible, purpose-built space that expands classroom capacity and supports emerging teaching Once the RFQ is adver-tised,
