Capital Labs Project located in Ottawa ON will be the central portion of a hub science research project and will support science-based projects. The project includes construction of a new laboratory building of approximately 30,000 sq meters with a dedicated central utility plant to support the laboratory system and approximately 3000 sq meters consisting of two farm buildings and a guard house. The project also involves construction and installation of geothermal system and modifications to the civil infrastructure in the existing campus to serve the new construction. Copilot said: The scope of work relates to the provision of Survey Services in support of the Project from October 2026 to March 2030, including survey control, construction layout and stakeout, quality control surveys, as-built surveys, drone surveying, laser scanning, reality capture, and other surveying services required for the construction and closeout of the Project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
