Services to replace three overhead garage doors at the Carlisle Public School. All work will be completed as described in Exhibit A - Scope of Work Please also confirm in your quote that labor rates are consistent with MA prevailing wage requirements. It is the responsibility of the contractor to obtain all required Building, Electrical, and Plumbing permits prior to commencement of any work. The Town of Carlisle will waive all Town permit fees. Project Description The Town of Carlisle is seeking qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits (if required), and incidentals necessary to remove and replace three (3) existing sectional overhead garage doors. The contractor shall provide complete, fully operational overhead door systems as specified herein. Existing Doors The project consists of the replacement of the following existing overhead doors: Two (2) overhead sectional doors measuring approximately 8 '- 0" wide x 8 '-0" high Electrically operated Existing electric openers to be removed and replaced One (1 ) overhead sectional door measuring approximately 8'-0 " wide x 6'-6" high Manual operation Equipped with a commercial Schlage 6- pin keyed lock Field verification of all dimensions is the responsibility of the contractor prior to ordering materials. Work Included The contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to: Remove and legally dispose of all existing doors, tracks, hardware, springs, operators, and associated components. o Furnish and install three new insulated sectional overhead doors. o Install all new vertical and horizontal tracks. Install all new torsion spring assemblies sized for each door. Install all new rollers, hinges, cables, drums, brackets, weather seals, and hardware. Keep existing vinyl weather stripping. Install new bottom weather seals. Adjust doors for smooth, balanced operation.
