Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Red Earth Creek, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Eastern Irrigation District is upgrading the Snake Lake Canal and as part of this work is seeking qualified Contractors to replace the existing crossing at Bridge File 72074 along Highway 1:16 approximately 21 km northwest of Brooks, Alberta. This project will involve the removal and disposal of an existing single 1982 mm diameter x 128 m x 128 m long concrete pipe, and the supply and installation of two (2) new 2400 mm (rise) x 3000 mm (span) x 128 m long Precast Concrete Box Culverts. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to the following: - Mobilization - Site Occupancy & Lane Closure for Bridge Construction - Traffic Accommodation (Staged Construction) - Care of Water - Removal and Disposal of Existing Structure - Structural Excavation - Precast Concrete Box Culvert Installation (Owner Supplied Materials) - Granular Backfill - Non-Granular Backfill - Supply and Install Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap - Roadway Work - Asphalt Concrete Pavement – Mix Type H2 (PG58-28) - Supply and Install Straw Rolls - Other Work
