Renovation of a military facility in Kettle Falls, Washington. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Remove the existing electric single packaged vertical unit (SPVU) and legally dispose of it. Provide and install a new electric 4-ton SPVU with a minimum 11 EER/3.3 COP, including a defrost kit equivalent to Bard W48HFA15 and Bard HVAC 8620-223 Defrost Board Replacement Kit. Furnish and install all required electrical connections and any necessary panel upgrades, structural modifications, ductwork modifications, and non-proprietary programmable controls. Perform startup, testing, and system adjustments. Provide operation and maintenance manuals, including as-built drawings, and obtain all permits required to complete the work. Clean all existing air duct interior surfaces and registers using HEPA-filtered vacuum equipment and legally dispose of all waste. Disconnect flexible ducting as necessary for cleaning and inspection, reconnect it properly, and inspect the ductwork while the system is operating to verify proper performance.
