Rehabilitation and resurfacing of asphalt multi-use pathway, including 2,805 m of 50 mm hot mix asphalt overlay, localized asphalt and granular base repairs, installation of six 300 mm PVC culverts, crack filling, traffic and pedestrian control, and site restoration. Documents are available at www.sasktenders.ca The Work to be undertaken under the Contract includes: Asphalt pathway rehabilitation and resurfacing within Cactus Park between IHH Park and Collins Road. The pathway is approximately 935 m long and 3.0 wide , with an estimated paving area of 2805m2. Preparation of the existing asphalt surface, including cleaning and sweeping prior to paving. Application of tack coat where required . Supply, placement, and compaction of 50 mm hot mix asphalt overlay. Saw cutting and removal of deteriorated asphalt in identified failed areas. Excavation and removal of failed base material as required. Supply, placement, grading, and compaction of granular base material suitable for asphalt pathway construction. Reinstatement of asphalt surfaces to match surrounding grades and elevations. Supply and installation of six (6) 300 mm diameter PVC culverts at locations shown on the Drawings. Coordination with City of Estevan Personnel performing drainage grading and related site restoration activities. Optional crack filling work as identified in the Bid Form Schedules. Protection of existing pathway surfaces, park features, utilities, adjacent areas, and public access where possible. Cleanup, disposal of removed asphalt at the City of Estevan asphalt pile, and restoration of disturbed areas. All other requirements as laid out in this Contract.
