Building construction and renovation, site and infrastructure work, and design and project coordination. The Project generally consists of the renovation and partial expansion of the Town's existing 5,300-square-foot, single-story concrete masonry fire station located at 3550 Military Trail, Jupiter, Florida. The objective is to modernize the facility to meet current Fire Rescue operational, staffing, health, wellness, and contamination-control requirements, including a potential growth from a three-shift to a four-shift staffing model. The Project is anticipated to include, but is not necessarily limited to: Full interior demolition, including removal of flooring, ceilings, wall finishes, trim, cabinetry, and other identified building components. Reconfiguration of the existing facility to support updated operational and staffing requirements. Reconfiguration of bunk areas to provide six sleeping quarters. Modification of the chief's office, including separation of the sleeping and office areas. Construction of single-occupant restroom and shower facilities, including three unisex restrooms with showers, two full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. Construction of a new kitchen, including cabinetry and integration of Owner-furnished equipment. Construction of decontamination areas with separation of hot and clean zones and dedicated washing and laundry functions. Relocation of laundry, gear storage, and bunker gear away from the apparatus bays. Construction of an approximately 750- to 800-square-foot linear building addition for gym expansion, storage, and support spaces. Full replacement of the approximately 5,500-square-foot roof with a standing-seam metal roofing system. Exterior repainting, sealing, and other building-envelope improvements. Evaluation and modification of mechanical, electrical , plumbing, fire protection, lighting, communications, data, and related building systems. Site improvements, including grease trap relocation, accessible parking modifications, grading, paving, drainage, wastewater, landscape, irrigation, and stormwater improvements associated with the proposed construction. Coordination with the Town and applicable regulatory agencies for permitting and project approvals.
