Partial tear off of an existing EPDM roof assembly with the installation of a new EPDM roof recover, including removal of flashings, EPS crickets, and top layer of insulation, substrate cleaning, and installation of new roof crickets. This project is for a partial tear off of an existing epdm roof assembly with the installation of new epdm roof recover at Martin Luther King, Jr Library at 9898 E Colfax Aurora CO 80010. The existing roof membrane, associated flashings, eps crickets, and top layer of insulation are to be removed and disposed with the existing base layer to remain in place. The substrate shall be cleaned and prepared for the installation of new roof assembly materials. Contractor shall install new roof crickets as indicated on the roof plan and at all locations where existing crickets are identified or encountered. This bid will also include all site-prep, cleanup, trash removal and all other necessary materials to complete the roof replacement. Two alternates are requested with the bid. The estimated cost for this project ranges from $475,000.00 to $520,000.00. Removal of the existing roof membrane and top layer of insulation, with the base layer of insulation to remain. 3. Installation of new top layer of insulation, cover boards, and roofing membrane. 4. Removal and replacement of wall flashings. 5. Removal and replacement of curb flashings. 6. Removal and replacement of electrical penetration flashings. 7. Removal and disposal of unused items as noted by the Owner and where shown on the drawings.
