Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a military facility in Laurel, Maryland. Completed plans call for the addition of a military facility; for the demolition of a military facility; for the renovation of a military facility; and for site work for a military facility.

RFP D/B - Ammunition Bunker Extended Storage Expansion Project Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, design, and construction services necessary to renovate an ammunition bunker under a firm-fixed-price design-build contract. The work includes completion of all required design activities and construction services necessary to renovate and upgrade the existing ammunition bunker in accordance with the requirements, specifications, and scope of work provided in the solicitation. The contractor shall furnish all resources required to deliver a complete and functional renovation and ensure compliance with all applicable contract requirements. The objective of this project is to provide professional turn-key design and build services to furnish and construct new concrete reinforced pads and a 5,400 square foot outdoor Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) SPEC Multiplex Magazine with heavy duty flooring, doors, entry ramps, awning, ceiling lighting, wall mounted HVAC & humidity control system, and other associated items. In the location where the new Multiplex will be constructed, there are two (2) existing ARMAG Corporation branded Outdoor Explosive Storage Magazines that shall be to be relocated to within the campus footprint; there is also a large metal shed system that shall be disassembled, stored & protected, and reassembled after the Multiplex system is delivered, set and fully operational. Although the project requirements under this SOW are divided into two (2) phases of work, the project remains a standalone, turnkey design-build effort. However, we are open to considering a more efficient sequencing plan, provided it meets all project requirements, maintains continuity of work, and does not adversely impact schedule, cost, quality, or operational needs. The concrete pads associated with this project shall be slab-on-grade designed and constructed to the American Concrete Institute (ACI) core standards including 301.1R. No concrete admixtures and accelerants are authorized for this project. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy, the most stringent applicable code, regulation, law, standard, or industry best practice shall govern. Question Deadline 08/28/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Questions to this solicitation shall be sent to Contract Specialist, Crystal Pressley at crystal.pressley@usss.dhs.gov and Contracting Officer, Erik Syfert at Erik.Syfert@usss.dhs.gov
