Description

Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of an educational facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

CR#: 2138212 Project 281008-07 is for the comprehensive renovation of Parker Hall, constructed in 1945, is a 119,000 GSF, three-story building to provide updated instructional and support space for the School of Social Work and the School of Architecture. The work includes replacement of all interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, restoration of building envelope, including replacement of roof and windows. The Project will include demolition and reconstruction of the South wing and construction of a green energy hub that will serve adjacent buildings. The Project will include the removal of hazardous materials and will provide upgrades to meet current code and ADA requirements.
