SUN VALLEY MAGNET SCHOOL: a) Clear and grub grass and planting areas. b) Remove existing irrigation piping and equipment. c) Remove existing soil below adjacent paving elevation. d) Remove existing concrete curb. e) Remove and relocate existing bench as indicated in the plan. Patch and repair the area where the bench was removed from and match existing surface. f) Furnish and install new granitecrete paving. g) Furnish and install new concrete header. h) Furnish and install new planting area with new plants and with 3" thick wood mulch to be placed atop in all planting areas. i) Furnish and install new re-purposed log stools and log benches. j) Furnish and install new irrigation system. k) Install and plant shrubs as indicated in the plans. 2. MULHOLLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL: a) Remove existing asphalt. b) Clear and grub existing planter strip. Excavate soil as needed to allow for installation of 3" deep wood mulch in this area. c) Furnish and install new granitecrete paving. d) Furnish and install new planting areas with new plants and with 3" thick wood mulch to be placed atop in all planting areas. e) Furnish and install new concrete curb. f) Furnish and install new re-purposed log stools and log benches. g) Furnish and install new tree root barriers. h) Furnish and install new irrigation system. 3. NEWCASTLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: a) Remove existing asphalt as needed to install new landscape. b) Furnish and install new paint over all partially remaining game striping. c) New trench to irrigation point of connection. d) Furnish and install new concrete header. e) Furnish and install new granitecrete paving. f) Furnish and install new planting areas with new plants and with 3" deep mulch. g) Furnish and install new irrigation water point of connection in existing yard box. h) Furnish and install new garden storage box. i) Furnish and install new tree root barriers. j) Furnish and install new re-purposed log stools and log benches. k) Furnish and install new bottomless raised planter beds. l) Furnish and install new cedar potting bench. m)Furnish and install new compost bin. n) Furnish and install crushed gravel paving. o) Furnish and install new irrigation system. 4. BURBANK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: a) Remove existing asphalt. b) Clear and grub existing tree well and remove any stump or roots. c) Remove existing planters. d) Remove existing game striping. e) Furnish and install new granitecrete paving. f) Furnish and install new planting area with new plants and with 3" deep shredded bark mulch to be placed atop in all planting areas. g) Repaint line-up dots to match existing adjacent line-up dots. h) Furnish and install new composite wood header. i) Furnish and install new asphalt paving at existing tree well. j) Furnish and install new 6" and 4" concrete curb. k) Furnish and install new boulders. CONTRACTOR to ensure that all boulders have generally a smooth surface. Relatively flat for seating. No sharp, jagged edges.
