Construction of a new salt storage building including site preparation, concrete loading pad, labor, materials, and equipment. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond. These written questions or requests must be submitted to Kevin Aldridge, Public Works Director, by mail or e -mail. The selected contractor shall follow the design and engineering plan provided by IONCON Engineering for a new salt storage building for the Town of Seven Devils. The proposed structure will consist of a single bay measuring approximately 80 feet by 30 feet, along with an adjacent concrete loading pad measuring approximately 30 feet by 30 feet. The building side walls are proposed to have an overall height of approximately 24 feet. The wall assembly will consist of 12-foot-high, 12- inch CMU foundation walls, with 12-foot-high 2x6 wood framed walls constructed above the CMU walls. The IONCON plan includes the engineering design of the footings, thickened concrete slab, 12-inch CMU walls up to a height of 12 feet, framing of wood walls, and required connections. IONCON has provided the roof truss layout and specify the required truss type. Final engineering, design, and sealed calculations for the roof trusses will be provided by the truss manufacturer. The exterior foundation walls will be specified with a stucco finish. The building siding is proposed to be T1-11, and the finished roof material is proposed to be metal roofing. Final finish material selections will be determined by the Town and the contractor.
