Renovation of a recreation facility in Duluth, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
Design and installation of a large-scale exterior mural on a brick wall at the Red Clay Theatre, incorporating existing architectural elements such as windows, downspouts, light fixtures, and signage. Three arched window openings (approximately 52.44 sq. ft. each) interrupt the mural surface. Vertical downspouts/gutters divide the wall into sections Exterior wall-mounted light fixtures above the windows. Marquee/signage on the right side. Fenced area at the base of the wall (approximately 293 sq. ft.). Viewing distance Parking lot directly in front of the mural. Building Surface Type Brick surface Existing wall penetrations, utility boxes, and fixtures Environmental Considerations Maintenance and longevity. Scope of Work The selected artist will be responsible for: Developing a final mural design Coordinating project schedule and execution Providing all materials and supplies Providing all necessary equipment Installation and Completion of the mural Applying the protective coatings as needed Wall preparation will be limited to pressure washing by the City; all other surface preparation will be the responsibility of the artist.
