Site work for a water / sewer project in Otsego, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a 7,130-square-foot water / sewer project.
The City of Otsego is proposing a project to install new water transmission lines to connect an existing pumphouse to a future water treatment facility. The project will involve the installation two 18” watermains through agricultural land. The proposed project will involve 7,130 SF of temporary wetland impacts (see Attachment B). Silt fence will be installed along the perimeter of the project area to minimize erosion and sedimentation offsite. After installation, the site will be re-graded and the impacted wetlands will be restored to pre-project conditions. Wetlands were delineated for this project in 2024. The delineation was reviewed and approved by the Technical Evaluation Panel, and a Notice of Decision was issued December 3, 2024 (see Attachment A). The boundary of Wetland D has been extrapolated slightly to account for the entire project area, which has been widened slightly in this area compared to the delineation review area (Attachment B). It is anticipated that construction will begin in the summer of 2026 and be completed in 2026. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Payment Bond required (unspecified amount).
