Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. SCOPE OF WORK SUMMARY: Comfort cooling system with individual room setpoint control needed in (3) offices on the first floor of Berkshire Superior Court. Bidder Note: Daikin or Mitsubishi systems preferred. Work hours will likely be split between normal business hours and premium time. Normal vs OT portion to be identified at pre-bid walk-through. General: Provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install a VRF system with outdoor condenser unit at the basement/ground level and four cooling heads at the first-floor level. Work to Include: Installation of outdoor condenser unit and (4) cooling heads. Installation of refrigerant piping and electrical. Installation of condensate drain line. Core drilling if necessary. Testing and commissioning of VRF system. Proposal Shall Include the following: Necessary permits included in price. Proof of insurance Acknowledgement that CORI checks are required before starting work. Acknowledgement of prevailing wage in proposal. Overtime premium for off-hours labor. Breakout of labor and materials in proposal. Guaranteed completion by 4/30/2027 1 year parts warranty letter required.
