Question Deadline 09/09/2026 Questions concerning this IFB should be directed to the City of Pittsfield Purchasing Agent up to five (5) business days before the time and date of the bid opening. The City of Pittsfield is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors for the installation of water hydrants at various locations throughout the City of Pittsfield, as directed by the Water Superintendent. Work under this contract shall begin on or before September 28, 2026 and be fully completed on or before October 16, 2026. The City of Pittsfield Water Department shall supply all materials needed for the awarded contractor to make the installation as outlined in these specifications . Should the contractor need other materials, the Contractor shall let the City's Water Superintendent know and those materials shall be provided to the Contractor. All existing hydrants shall be turned over to the City by delivering them to the Water Department, located at 901 Holmes Road in Pittsfield.
