Grantsville City is seeking formal competitive proposals from qualified contractors for roadway widening improvements along Durfee Street at the Matthews Lane intersection. The project is designed to improve roadway capacity, traffic flow, and safety by widening both the north and south sides of Durfee Street, with all construction work required to be fully completed . The work consists of roadway widening improvements at Durfee Street and Matthews Lane, including excavation, subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of pre-treated A1A and road base, west-end tapers and tie-ins on both north and south sides, traffic control, final grading, and a 4-inch asphalt pavement section. North Side: Approximately 600 LF _ 14 FT, with an 18-inch subcut. South Side: Approximately 300 LF _ 12 FT, with an 18-inch subcut.
