Site work and paving for a civil project in Maui, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project involves the repair of two corrugated metal pipe culvert systems along Makena Alanui Drive. The scope of work includes replacement of two 10 feet diameter corrugated metal pipes with reinforced concrete box culverts, limited excavation for the installation of reinforced concrete box culverts, and the slip-lining of three 66-inch diameter corrugated metal pipes with 54 inch diameter high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes. The scope of work also includes pavement restoration, adjustment of manholes, and other incidental items. Each Proposal Shall Be On A Form Furnished By The Department Of Public Works, County Of Maui. The Proposal Guaranty Shall Be Equal To At Least Five Percent (5%) Of The Total Amount Of The Bid Submitted. The Estimated Construction Cost Is Between $1,000,000 To $5,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
