Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Wailea, Hawaii. Design plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to relocate this station (last rehabilitated in1995) in a new location away from the beach area. This station needs to meet area capacity requirements and be standardized to be similar in design and operation as other Kihei area pump station facilities. Construction includes pump station facilities and force main additions. This project is in included in the Maui County 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 21, 2023, an engineer has been selected for the project. Bidding is not expected to start prior to early 2025 and construction is estimated to start in late 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
