Site work and new construction of a civil project in Wagner, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
Installation of water main, water services, sanitary sewer main, sewer services, pump station and drainfield, centerline culvert and miscellaneous incidental items. Pre-Bid Meeting 08/21/2026 at 2:00 PM CT Question Deadline 08/24/2026 We understand that the project will consist of constructing 10 tiny homes and a community center building. The tiny homes will be manufactured (trailer-style) homes that will utilize a traditional spread footing. We assume that the wall loads for the tiny homes will be less than 2 kips per lineal foot (klf). The community center building will be a slab-on-grade structure with an approximate footprint of 2,000 square feet. We assume the finished floor elevation (FFE) of the community center building will be approximately at 108.0 feet. Based on the ground surface elevations of the test borings (test borings 7, 8 and 9) and the assumed FFE of the community center building, cutting/filling of about 1 foot will be needed within the community center building footprint. We assume that foundation support for the community center building will be provided by perimeter footings resting below frost depth and interior footings resting at or slightly below the floor slab. We assume the wall loads will be less than 4 klf and the column loads will be less than 100 kips. We assume the floor loads will be light. Light floor loads would consist of less than or equal to 250 pounds per square foot (psf).
