Project Description This is a complete painting project. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, safety measures, access equipment, protection, preparation, full priming, painting, cleanup, and related work necessary to complete the project as described in this scope of work. The contractor shall include all work normally required to deliver a complete, solid, uniform, professional painting project acceptable to the district, whether or not each minor task is listed separately. No additional compensation will be allowed for work reasonably required to complete the painting project, including but not limited to surface preparation, patching, caulking, sanding, mechanical de-glossing, masking, protection, access, coordination, brushing, rolling, spraying, back-rolling, back-brushing, cleanup, touch-up, correction of deficient work, or additional coats required for full coverage and uniform appearance The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. Each bidder's bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount not less than ten percent ( 10%) of the total bid price: ( 1 ) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.
