Reference Number 0000434515 The Apex Park and Recreation District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction services to construct a safe connection to the Ralston Creek Trail through the parking lot of the Apex Center located at 13150 W 72nd Ave, Arvada, CO 80005. Scope of work: Construct a connection from 72nd Avenue to the Ralston Creek Trail as defined in the Modification to Approved Site Plan document that is attached. Acquire all required permits and schedule inspections from City of Arvada, schedule work with Apex staff to reduce impact to the recreation center and the adjacent police training center, the archery facility, and to any special events scheduled to take place on Apex property. Provide any required storm inlet protection and/or storm water protection plan. Provide traffic control and other required safety precautions to ensure the safety of Apex staff, Apex customers, and the public at large at all times. Provide weekly updates to Apex staff assigned to monitor the progress of the project. Contractor will be responsible for all testing (flexible paving and concrete), maintaining access to the fire lane for emergency services and deliveries, maintaining access to the Ralston Creek trail, security and sanitation (trash removal and portable toilets) of work areas, adherence to all city ordinances regarding noise and lighting in residential areas. A staging area will be provided in the southwest corner of the west parking lot. All required construction specifications are attached.
