Replacement of thirty deteriorated poured-concrete structural columns at five existing picnic pavilions, including temporary supports, labor, materials, equipment, and disposal. Provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, temporary supports , disposal, testing, protection, and incidentals necessary to replace thirty (30) deteriorated poured-concrete structural columns at five (5) existing picnic pavilions (six columns per pavilion) located at Round Island Park, 2200 S. Hwy A1A Vero Beach, FL 32963. All work shall comply with the approved construction plans, issued permits, Florida Building Code requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following Verify existing conditions and coordinate site preparation, staging, and safety measures. Provide engineered temporary supports/shoring as required to safely support existing woodframed roof structures during column removal and replacement. Carefully demolish and remove the thirty deteriorated concrete columns, including disposal of all debris in accordance with local regulation. Furnish and install new poured-concrete structural columns as detailed in the approved plans, including all necessary reinforcement, formwork, concrete placement, curing, and finishes. Perform all required inspections and testing (including concrete testing) as specified by the plans and permitting authorities. Protect and maintain all elements designed to remain, including: Existing wood-framed roof structures. Existing concrete slabs and footings. Existing stainless-steel roof connection hardware. Restore any disturbed areas of the site to pre-construction conditions. Ensure work area cleanliness, safety, and proper barricades throughout the project.
