Bracket replacement at Cooper River Marina, requiring marine contractor services. The contractor shall furnish and install all materials to complete the following: 1. The Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with the attached Scope of Work. 2. The Contractor will be responsible for visiting the site prior to bid to determine preparations, materials, labor, and equipment required for completing the bid document. 3. The Contractor shall follow all applicable City, County, State, and Federal codes and regulations and is responsible for obtaining and paying for all necessary permits. 4. The Contractor shall provide all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and any other hardware necessary to complete this project. 5. The Contractor shall protect the surrounding area including boardwalks, docks, and boats. 6. The Contractor shall maintain a safe work area for patrons , boats, and CCPRC staff. The worksite shall be secured and cleaned up daily (nails, debris, equipment, etc.). 7. Metal and other filings shall be cleaned from the docks on a daily basis . The Contractor is responsible for detailing owners' vessels in the event of damage from metal filings. 8. Contractor shall furnish and install all materials to complete the following: Remove and replace corner fillet brackets and thru rods located at slips: AT001 , AT002 , A008 , A009 , A021 , A030 B001 , B002, B003, B007, B019, B025 , B027, B029 C003, C006, C007, C008, C009, C012, C031 , C032 D028, D029 (Bellingham Docks) Remove and replace piling guide brackets and thru rods at slips: 1st end piling off the South Dock gangway AT001 , AT002 , A000, A002, A004, A006, A008 , A015 B006, B008, B010 C010, C036, C037 Remove and replace all waler boards that support the bracket in front, behind, and to each side of the bracket. (Examples can be shown.) Remove and re-install all StarBoard fillet covers in the affected areas. StarBoard shall be fastened to the corner fillet brackets with stainless steel screws or bolts. Water service shall be reinstalled to pre-replacement locations and tested for leakage. Remove and replace all piling guide roller pins and cotter pins, washers, rollers, wood coverings, rub rail, and corner fenders on pile guides and corner brackets. All piling guide brackets, corner fillet brackets, T-plates, thru bolts, nuts, washers, and other fittings shall be hot-dip galvanized steel.
