Improvement project including earthwork, utility coordination, roadway construction, and infrastructure modifications for the interchange area. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental work for: the Hazel Avenue at U.S. 50 Interchange Improvements Project - Segment 1 includes widening the Hazel Avenue overcrossing of U.S. 50, modifying the westbound on-and off-ramps to incorporate a shared-use path, improving multimodal connectivity, constructing a retaining wall at the eastbound loop on-ramp to increase shoulder width and improve the clear recovery zone and widening U.S. 50 between Alder Pond and Folsom Boulevard to add an eastbound auxiliary lane. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids.
