The City of Phoenix Aviation Department is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide pre-construction and construction services for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) Aviation Department Operations Division and PHX Police Airport Bureau. The selected CMAR will work as a team with the designer of record and City staff to ensure an efficient design approach for the project. The proposed site is located at the eastern portion of the 24th Street Sky Train Station parking lot at 3400 E. Sky Harbor Blvd. The estimated construction costs is $40 million. The desired date for completion of the construction and start of beneficial use is July 1, 2029. The project consist of development of an approximate 40,000 square-foot shared office facility to accommodate the space and operational needs of the City of Phoenix Aviation Department's Airport Operations Division and Phoenix Police Airport Bureau combining them into a single consolidated facility. This project serves as an enabling component for the development of the new PHX West Terminal.
