Description

Site work and new construction of a laboratory facility in Chalk River, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a laboratory facility; and for site work for a laboratory facility.

Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) is seeking responses from qualified proponents for the construction of a new Customer Transformer Station (CTS) at the Chalk River Laboratories (CRL) site in Chalk River, Ontario. The CTS Project is intended to support the long-term electrical infrastructure requirements of the CRL site and includes construction of a new high-voltage transformer station and associated civil, electrical, protection and control, commissioning, and related infrastructure works. The Project will be delivered within a regulated and controlled operational environment and will require coordination with multiple stakeholders, including utility providers and site operations.
