The CMAR Contract will include the following services and Work: The City of Big Lake is expanding and improving its wastewater treatment facilities to address long term community growth, accommodate increased industrial and residential wastewater demand, replace aging infrastructure, improve operational reliability, and maintain compliance with current and anticipated regulatory requirements. The City seeks a Construction Manager who can support collaborative planning, conduct constructability and sequencing reviews, lead cost and schedule development, and deliver a complex wastewater infrastructure project while maintaining uninterrupted treatment operations and supporting future growth of the Big Lake community. It is expected that the CMAR Contractor will perform the services described in EJCDC CMAR-525 Exhibit A. A preliminary version of EJCDC CMAR-525 Exhibit A is attached for reference. The opinion of probable cost prepared as part of the facilities plan, and adjusted based on inflationary indices, was $43,700,000 prepared in 2025. The CMAR Contract has an expected start to pre construction of January 2027. The expected Notice to Proceed for construction of June 2028 with a final completion date of Summer 2031.
