Site work and renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Hythe, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

Work of this Contract comprises of the following: .1 The installation of a modular / prefabricated water treatment plant and pipework connections between the new treatment plant, a new well, existing buildings and a splash park. The modular / prefabricated water treatment plant will be supplied by Flowpoint Environmental Systems who will deliver the unit to site. .2 The scope of work also includes the supply and installation of new water distribution piping and fittings via directional drilling, sanitary sewer connections via open trench excavation, backfilling, and surface restoration. The abandonment / decommissioning of four existing water supply wells in accordance with local applicable requirements is also included within this scope of work. .3 As indicated above, the process and mechanical scopes of work encompasses the installation of a packaged water treatment plant / building supplied by Flowpoint Environmental Systems, which will be delivered to site as a complete factoryfabricated containerized unit. The successful bidder will be responsible for offloading, setting, and levelling the building on a helical pile foundation, and the completion of all external connections including process piping, drainage, electrical service, heat tracing, and controls integration. Additional process scope includes supply and installation of a submersible well pump for a new artesian well, stainless steel process piping and fittings, sanitary process piping, pitless adapters, and point-of-use water treatment equipment inside the Hythe Arena. .4 The successful bidder will be responsible for commissioning and the provision of a fully operational system upon completion of the scope of work, which will be covered by a 2-year warranty period. Roles and responsibilities between the successful bidder and Flowpoint Environmental Systems are specified within the contract documents, with Flowpoint Environmental Systems providing warranty services to the County directly for their scope of supply. The deliverables include but are not limited to .1 Offload, set, and level the Flowpoint Environmental Systems factory-fabricated containerized water treatment plant building on a helical pile foundation. .2 Prepare gravel parking area at the water treatment plant building. .3 Supply and install all external connections to the water treatment plant building including piping, drainage, electrical service, heat tracing, and controls integration. .4 Integrate containerized water treatment plant with County's SCADA. .5 Supply and install a submersible well pump, pitless adapter, level transmitter, and all associated piping and electrical connections for a new artesian well supply to containerized water treatment plant. .6 Supply and install new raw and potable water distribution piping and fittings, via horizontal directional drilling methods. .7 Supply and install sanitary sewer connections. .8 Install point-of-use water treatment equipment inside the Hythe Arena. .9 Abandonment / decommissioning of four existing water supply wells in accordance with applicable Alberta requirements. .10 Restore all surfaces, structures and landscaping impacted by the new construction activities. .11 Provide required testing and commissioning of the new infrastructure to ensure it functions as intended, meets performance requirements, and is ready for operational use.
