Description

Renovation of a military facility in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Replace two failing rooftop packaged air conditioning units (RTU-1 and RTU-2) at Building 3852 with new, high-efficiency, like-in-kind units. Work includes the complete removal and replacement of all building supply and return ductwork insulation to restore thermal efficiency and indoor air quality, integration of the new units with the existing Building Automation System (BAS) or provision of standalone programmable controls, and removal and replacement of all suspended 2' x 2' tegular acoustical ceiling tiles. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, supervision, engineering, installation, testing, and warranty services necessary to complete the work. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and standards, including building, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, HVAC, energy efficiency, refrigerant management, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) requirements. A mandatory site visit is anticipated following issuance of the solicitation. The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract for this project.
