The facility will be owned by Polk County and feature various programs and athletic spaces including Aquatic Spaces, a Gymnasium equipped for pickle ball, basketball, volleyball, Locker Rooms, MultiPurpose/Flexible work out spaces, Studios, Wellness Areas, Office/Admin, and Common Areas. Cope, Inc has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk by Polk County and is seeking prequalified construction trade and specialty contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the new Polk County Community Recreation Facility located in Columbus, North Carolina.
