Description

Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development.

The Region of Waterloo intends to redevelop the land located at 15 - 105 Mooregate Crescent in Kitchener, Ontario. Prior to redeveloping the land, the Region intends to demolish the existing structures, remove all existing infrastructure, backfill and compact voids left by foundations, and regrade the site. Qualified General Contractors and/or Demolition Contractors & Sub-contractors are invited to submit PRE-QUALIFICATION information for the demolition at this property. This prequalification is open to General Contractors, Demolition Contractors, and Demolition Contractors who intend to act as General Contractors (responsible for all subcontractors). This prequalification will produce a list of prequalified General Contractors and Demolition Contractors. The Region of Waterloo intends to have the tender issued in October and award the contract within 2-4 weeks of the tender closing. Substantial and final completion is anticipated for Q3 2027. Demolition is expected to begin in the Fall/Winter of 2026 and to be completed in 2027.
