Renovation of a military facility in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This project is located at the David Wills House within Gettysburg National Military Park. The David Wills House is a three-story structure containing two floors of publicly accessible museum space and a third floor used for National Park Service Educational Programs. The building receives approximately 14,000 visitors annually. The interior of the David Wills House underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation completed in approximately 2008. Interior finishes, lighting systems, and building systems date from that rehabilitation and do not consist of original historic interior fabric. The work under this contract involves replacement and rehabilitation of modern interior systems and finishes within a historic structure. This project encompasses removal and replacement of the existing interior lighting control system and lighting fixtures, along with replacement, repair, and refinishing of interior flooring surfaces. All work will be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local codes , National Park Service policies, and prevailing wage requirements. DURATION: The contract performance period is expected to be 90 calendar days from notice to proceed; the period of performance is negotiable.
