Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Accompanying this proposal is a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% made payable to the municipality as a proposal guarantee which, it is understood, will be forfeited in case the contractor fails to comply with the requirements of the proposal. Contractor shall furnish and place one (1) application of Bituminous Seal Coat on Township roads (as described above). Contractor shall perform work in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408 Section 470 Standard Specifications. Contractor shall be prepared to lay out a Test Strip per PTM 747 in order to verify proper application rate. LOCATION OF WORK : Breams Hill Road T - 335 ; 2,006 LF 18ft . wide ; 4,012 square yards Herrs Ridge Road (Breams Hill -Fairplay Rd ) T-338 ; 2,059 LF 20ft wide ; 4,576 square yards Paddock Drive T -359 ; 898 LF 18ft . wide 1,796 square yards All lengths are approximate . Work to be completed on or before 8/14/2026 . After 9/18/2026 Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $ 885.00 per calendar day.
