Online sealed bids for the construction of Twin Oaks Pump Station Replacement will be received by Gettysburg Municipal Authority via the PennBid Program. Bids will be received for General Construction and Electrical Construction contracts. Each bidder must deposit with the bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, which must be paid to workmen employed on this project, are incorporated in the contract documents. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty days after the actual bid opening date unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 as amended.
