Gettysburg CARES, a non-profit emergency homeless shelter in Adams County, PA, is inviting sealed bids for the renovation of a 2 unit apartment house on Chambersburg St., Gettysburg, PA. The scope includes electrical, plumbing, window and carpentry work in a 1st floor unit, basement, and attic, as well as limited exterior window and masonry repair. Bids must comply with Adams Response and Recovery Fund requirements, including PA Prevailing Wage requirements. Interested contractors should contact Gettysburg CARES by email to request an electronic PDF copy of the Invitation for Bid and supporting documents. Walkthroughs of the job site are strongly encouraged but not required, with scheduled dates for interested bidders to attend. Bids must be received by midnight March 8th, 2026 to be considered.
