Planned improvements include an approximately 8,564-square-foot education center/event building, a café, viewing decks and patios, multi-purpose lawn areas, trails, interpretive features, shoreline and tidal-marsh restoration, Bay Trail improvements, a drop-off loop, driveway access, 29 parking spaces, an accessory rescue equipment storage building, and a trash enclosure. The project was approved by the City of Burlingame on August 10, 2026. Estimated project value: $12,000,000 based on park development, environmental restoration, site infrastructure, and new building construction scope.
