Reference Number 0000330309 A contractor is to supply and install a sub-membrane depressurization (SMD) system. This system will be used to reduce radon gas concentration within the B4 Mechanical room. In principle, this system will act as a membrane and will introduce a network of piping throughout the pits to draw on the radon gas and exhaust it safely outdoors. As this building has a number of expansive sized crawlspace (pit) beneath the entire footprint with access hatches both horizontal and vertical. As such the contractor will properly seal the openings to prevent air from these pits to migrate into the building but allow maintenance access to these spaces as required. For mandatory site visits, Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.
